Q4 2020 Snapshot: Top Train Games on Android in Brazil

In the fourth quarter of 2020, Brazil's Android users showed a keen interest in train-themed gaming apps. Sensor Tower's data offers a glimpse into the performance of the top train games during this period, highlighting trends in downloads and weekly active users.

City Train Driver- Train Games, published by Imperial Arts Pty Ltd, saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 19K in late September and peaking at 45K in the final week of December. The game's weekly active users also grew from 158K to 213K over the quarter.

Budge Studios’ Thomas & Friends Minis experienced fluctuating weekly revenue, with a notable peak of 306 USD in late November. Downloads for the game showed a downward trend, decreasing from 14K to 12K, while active users dipped slightly from 23K to 22K by the end of Q4.

Train Taxi, from SayGames Ltd, had modest revenue numbers, ranging between 3 USD and 13 USD per week. The app's downloads saw a high in late October at 16K but ended the quarter with 10K. Weekly active users saw a high of 34K in October, ending the quarter with 23K.

The Canadian publisher Budge Studios also brought us Thomas & Friends: Magic Tracks, which saw its revenue increase from 68 USD to 123 USD by the year's end. Downloads started at 10K and ended at approximately 9K, while active users remained relatively stable, starting and ending the quarter with around 25K.

Lastly, Thomas & Friends: Go Go Thomas showed a revenue peak of 147 USD in the third week of December. Downloads for the game hovered around 7K throughout the quarter, with weekly active users starting at 23K and rising to 22K.
